Sandy Point State Reservation

Description:

Surrounded by wildlife refuge and salt marsh habitats the trails at Sandy Point are a likely location for wildlife sightings, especially birds.  Sandy trails and beaches are an enjoyable part of this 77 acre State Reservation.

Directions/Location:

From Rt.1 take Hanover St. in Newbury Port, continue straight onto Rolfes Ln.  At the end of Rolfes take a right onto Water St. which becomes Plumb Island Turnpike.  Turn right onto Sunset Dr. and continue down Refuge Rd. until the reservation parking area.
